A World of Characters
In this course students will create and act out characters. Students will create their imaginary character through a mix of exercises and activities and end with enacting their characters in improv scenes amongst one another.

Mr. Nasir is an improvisation and storytelling coach and performer. He co-founded and became the Artistic Director of Improv Comedy Bangalore, an improv theatre company. He also founded and directed the Bengaluru Improv Festival which is India's first international improv festival. Mr. Nasir has conceptualized and facilitated a number of sessions for kids for organisations and schools such as - Jagriti Theatre, Neev Academy, Lynkube, BeMe and iKidYouNot.

Books on Stage
Students will listen to and see the illustrations from a book read by the teacher. They will then discuss what is happening in the book and prepare to act it out, focusing on the plot and characters. Children are not expected to know how to read for this class.
Fun with Personal Storytelling
This course aims to start kids off on a journey of recognizing stories in their own lives. The course helps students notice the finer details of their everyday interactions and eventually learn to draw inspiration from them for their creativity. This is an ideal course to work towards creativity and self-expression.
Socio Emotional Learning: Big Feelings
In this interactive Social-Emotional Learning class, students will explore aspects of kindness, empathy, worry, anger and self acceptance. Each lesson will focus on one Big Idea or Feeling using varied mediums, such as - puppets, songs, stories, games, and craft projects. This course taps into children’s inherent resilience and creativity to allow for constructive problem solving and self-expression.
Reading Comprehension: Fairy Tale Fun
Each week students will be read a famous fairy tale for children. Students learn reading comprehension skills such as asking and answering questions about key details in the fairy tale, retelling stories to include the beginning, middle, and end, and identifying the elements of a story (characters, setting, plot, etc.). This course helps develop an interest in reading and builds on comprehension, reading and writing skills.
Early Art Explorers
This is a beginning art class with elements of art, craft, drawing and painting. We will focus primarily on engaging with each other, exploring with the materials, and exercising our creativity through guided art projects. Supplies required for the class are easily available at the homes of most students.
Animal Kingdom Art
Each week students will draw and paint an animal. In doing so they will be learning elements of art: line, shape, form, space, color, value and texture. They will also become familiar with their art mediums. Some of the animals include: dragons, owls, bugs, cats, bunnies, hedgehogs, geckos, foxes, sea turtles, tigers and more! Students will be adding foreground, background, and details to their work.
